Vigneault said "Marc is feeling a little bit better, is going along, is going through the concussion protocol and it's a day by day and feel by feel thing. He has been through it before and hopefully he will be back sooner than later."
9:42PM: Staal is believed to be symptom free after working out at the Rangers practice facility this week. (NY Post)
It is not officially known if Staal had a concussion as he has not gone through the NHL's concussion protocol. (NY Post)

Staal has been working out at the Rangers' practice facility this week and it's not known if he will be available when the Rangers return this weekend. (NY Post)
The Rangers had announced that Staal was out with an upper body injury.
Staal reportedly was not feeling well after the Rangers loss to the Sabres and had not through the NHL's concussion protocol. (NY Post)
Adam Rotter: Just as the Rangers appear to be getting healthy up front, they are now dealt a big blow on defense. It's hard to replace Staal but Adam Clendening will likely stay in the lineup with a call up possible but not probably since the Rangers don't have any extended road trips coming up.
From the weird coincidence file though, each season where Staal suffers a concussion the Rangers at least get to the Eastern Conference Final.
