2/11/15 | 2:59PM: Alain Vigneault says that St. Louis is the "ultimate pro" and that he has not complaints about his attitude or work ethic. (NYR)
Vigneault said before last night's game, "Marty is doing a lot of good things right now and sometimes players go through these unfortunate times where it’s tougher to get points on the board. He is working real hard and his attitude is real good and I think it’s just a matter of time he starts getting some numbers for us.”
2/10/15 | 7:05PM: St. Louis said on MSG:
- "I have gone through slumps and gone cold, it always comes back. I am staying positive and I know it will be back. Confidence comes and goes and you need to fight to get it back. It’s an every day process and I try to stay on top of myself and get that swagger back because it’s easy come, easy go. It goes both ways."
- No one likes the slumps but they make you enjoy the good times. It’s adversity and like anything else, you gotta put on your big boy pants and go to work."
- "You are one good shot from turning it all around, I am a streaky player goal scoring wise and you get one and I know I will get more. It’s just staying with the process. If you aren’t frustrated there is something wrong with you. They aren’t fun times but they are times where you find out about yourself."
St. Louis has two goals in the past 16 games, 8 points, and 5 goals in his last 28.
