He said that Brassard was struggling on draws, he wanted a second on the ice and JT Miller had won his faceoffs on the PP.
Vigneault said that if he could change on the fly he would put Marty on with Nash and Brassard but if a faceoff was in the offensive zone he would put Miller on the ice.
Vigneualt went on to say, "Marty has been a big part of this team and there isn’t a lot of room out there and not a lot of chances. He has been a big part and he will continue to be a big part.”
Asked about his game, St. Louis said on Friday that he was playing some "good hockey" but not getting rewarded and that "overall" he feels good about his game. (NHL)

On playing Tampa, St. Louis said that he has a lot of respect for the organization but right now Tampa is standing in the way of the Rangers. (NHL)
Pierre McGuire said that St. Louis should see a lot more open space this round than he did against Washington.
Adam Rotter: Marty hasn't scored yet and the Rangers have advanced. All he needs to do is get going now and while I don't think a guy like St. Louis ever needs extra motivation, he will have to feel something more being against his former team. So far Marty has probably had more of an impact off the ice than on the ice but all of that can change starting tomorrow. If he can just get one it could all start opening up for him.
