Michael Grabner has 14 points in the last 13 games with 11 of those being goals.
Grabner has 3 goals in the last two games and 4 in his last 4 games.
Dave Maloney said after the Rangers game against the Sabres that Grabner is "dangerous" and "so much fun to watch in open ice."
He has a shooting percentage of 20.8% this season, scoring 25 times on 120 opportunities.
In 80 games for Toronto last season Grabner scored 9 times on 116 shots on goal and only attempted 186 shot attempts.
Grabner has already attempted 196 shots this season.
Adam Rotter: Grabner just continues to amaze me with the rate at which he is scoring. For some reason I just keep expecting this game to be the one where the puck stops going in, but it hasn't really happened yet. Grabner has been a scorer in the past but his career high shooting percentage is 14.9% and his career average is 12.8%. He's on a tremendous streak this season and it has been a big boon for the Rangers, but there is part of me that just keeps dragging away the excitement because it just seems like at some point the puck will stop going in and he will go cold. Maybe it doesn't happen and Grabner ends up leading the Rangers with 35-40 goals
To me, Grabner's role hasn't changed since he was signed. He is scoring a lot more but he's still a bottom-six forward who kills penalties, is a two-way player and creates energy and offense with his speed. He's fit in real well with Hayes and Miller but even with his 25 goals I still view him as 9 out of 9 on the list of players in the top-9 that I expect to score. Grabner's scoring has provided incredible depth for the Rangers this year but I think that if the Rangers find themselves in a position where they are relying on him to score and lead then they will be in trouble.
