While in Hartford, Kreider is getting a chance to play in situations that he would most likely not have the opportunity to with the Rangers.
That includes the penalty kill which saw Kreider be on the ice for nearly an entire two minutes over the weekend.
Kreider told Blueshirts United it's nice to play in all different kinds of situations and use each situation as a learning experience.
He cited the "little things" on the PK and PP and all the other little details that he is learning and called the process "fun."
Ken Gernander has talked about how Kreider is getting his feet wet with the Whale.
Kreider also used an incredible move to set up a Ryan Bourque goal over the weekend.
