At OHL Prospects, Brock lists the slow start for Thomas as one of the early storylines for the season.
Thomas had two goals on Saturday for Oshawa.
Month by month last season, Thomas scored 2-Sep, 9-Oct, 7-Nov,7-Dec, 9-Jan, 13 Feb, 7-March.
There was a lot of scoring title talk for Thomas but that really isn't what is important for him this season. Sure, a lot of points are good for vanity purposes but what is important for Thomas is to get stronger and hopefully play for Canada at the World Juniors. There isn't much more that he can do after scoring 54 and having 99 points last season. He proved that he can be a scorer, now he needs to round out his game.
