Alain Vigneault said yesterday that either Lindberg or Jooris would be scratched against the Islanders.
Lindberg missed the first five games of the season recovering from hip surgery and has played in 11 games this season while also being a healthy scratch 10 times.
Lindberg has an assist, a minus two rating, 8 shots on goal, and is averaging 9:36 per game.
Around November 20th, Vigneault said that the Rangers had to b patient with Lindberg sine he had undergone a "serious recovery," didn't have training camp and was trying to find his game. (NY Post)
Around the end of November, Vigneault said that Lindberg had been working hard in practice and that he had been an effective player for the Rangers in the past.
When he has been on the ice at 5 on 5 the Rangers only have 37% of the shot attempts. (Natural Stat Trick)
