Ryan McDonagh said after Tuesday night's loss to Buffalo that if the Rangers come out the same way against Philly then, "we are going to get embarrassed once again."
McDonagh that he hoped his teammates took Tuesday night's performance "to heart" and that they would get ready and be in the right frame of mind to "go out and do what is needed.
Henrik Lundqvist said that the Rangers don't have a choice and need to move on after Tuesday night's game and shouldn't over analyze things.
Derek Stepan said that the Rangers needed to take lessons from their "awful" performance against the Sabres and make adjustments before the game against Philly. (NY Post)
Alain Vigneault was asked after the game about how the Rangers respond and said, "we are playing tomorrow and we will need to be ready for that one because I know Philly will be ready."
The Rangers beat the Flyers 3-2 on the day after Thanksgiving in a game where they said they were happy with how they played physically.
Lundqvist stopped 40 or 42 shots in that game and the Rangers got goals from Stepan, Matt Puempel and Kevin Hayes.
