The red-hot Rangers were delivered a pretty big blow on Monday.
Forward Pavel Buchnevich was ruled out four to six weeks with a broken thumb, the team announced.
The 23-year-old sustained the injury on Saturday during a 5-4 shootout win over the Blue Jackets.
Buchnevich has been one of the Rangers' more productive players this season, recording nine points (five goals, four assists) in the first 14 games.
The Rangers, winners of five of their last six games, host the Canucks on Monday at 7 p.m.
