Michael Del Zotto was a healthy scratch for the fourth time this month last night and Larry Brooks writes in the NY Post that it is becoming "increasingly clear" that Del Zotto isn't in the plans for Alain Vigneault.
Brooks says that the only reason why Del Zotto is still a Ranger is because they haven't received an offer good enough to take. He adds that the Rangers don't have enough depth on defense to take a discount for Del Zotto.
He notes that Del Zotto watched the Rangers beat the Panthers last night while sitting next to his agent Pat Morris.
Del Zotto told the Daily News last night that he didn't expect to be scratched last night and that the only thing he can do is work hard.
He added that he isn't happy about being scratched.
Del Zotto told Ranger Rants that he can't control his future.
