10/4/14 | 10:25AM: Ryan one had two shot, 3 hits, a giveaway, the game tying goal and the shootout winner in his 13:47 of ice time.
Asked how he played, Malone said "pretty good, couple of mistakes, a little turnover in the first, I have to make the simple play and maybe finishing another check or two but it was a good game with Millsy and Fast did a good job of talking and we were down in the o-zone a lot but we need to drive the dirty areas more since we were on the perimeter. A couple of times I fanned to get it back to the point to get some point shots and keep it simple." (NYR)
On his approach, Malone said "you just want to be noticed in a positive way and want to make sure you are doing the little things, even in practice, you just try to take it one day at a time." (Lohud via Soundcloud)
The more games you play the more comfortable you feel with the little plays and system and communication. (Lohud via Soundcloud)
