Joe Micheletti said after the Tampa game that Nash should probably have more goals this season with all of the chances he gets and that he is playing like he doesn't want to be denied going to the net.
Nash has a shooting percentage of 11% this season, up from his career low of 8.2% last season but down below his career average of 12.2% and just slightly under his career average with the Rangers, 11.3%. (HR)
Adam Rotter: Nash has been trying to lead by example with his play on the ice lately but hasn't been able to get the ultimate reward for all of his strong play. He was dominant against Tampa Bay but couldn't find the net. He had chances in Florida and couldn't score. He looks like he is right on the verge of one of his hot streaks where he could finish the season with 12 goals in 15 games, but he has looked like that before at times this season and still not found the back of the net. He's playing hard and noticeable on pretty much every shift which is all you can really ask of a player, but at some point there is an expectation that Nash will be looked to to score, not just to be noticeable.
