On Thursday against the Sabres, Rick Nash played 19:56, had 3 shots on goal, 3 shot attempts that missed the net and was held off the score sheet.
Nash said after the game that he couldn't "buy" a goal but that he felt his hands and legs "going together"(NY Post)
He added, "I'm looking to build on this." (NY Post)
Nash played 5:27 in the first, 5:44 in the second, 6:56 in the third and 1:49 in OT.
Nash said after the game against the Flyers last week that he felt his game was coming along.
Adam Rotter: Nash was all over the ice on Thursday, went to the net and much like the game against Philly, deserved at least one goal, if not more. He looks like he is close to going on one of his hot streaks again where he scores at seemingly a goal a game pace for 2 weeks or so. He's the Rangers most dominant offensive player when he plays like he did in Buffalo and against Philly last week and while the Rangers depth technically means that they don't need him to dominate in that way, the more attention he has to take from the defense will open things up for his linemates and teammates.
