Nash has not been used in the shootout this season.
Adam Rotter: Nash has been good lately but his play hasn't equaled production in the goal column. He's been buzzing around the net in most of the games since returning but 4 goals in 17 games wouldn't make it seem like that. The Rangers haven't had a lot of shootouts this season but it does seem odd that Rick Nash hasn't been used. I don't have an issue with using Zuccarello or Zibanejad ahead of Nash, even Vesey or maybe Hayes, but I always question the use of Derek Stepan. He's scored some big shootout goals over the years, and his shot did hit the crossbar last night, but I would always go with Nash before Stepan.
