Yandle has led the team in ice time the past two games. (NY Post)
Adam Rotter: When Keith Yandle was the Rangers third-pair left defenseman who played on the second PP unit it was much easier to trade him. Now that Yandle is essentially the Rangers first-pair left defenseman and leading the team in ice time, it's much harder to move him. There is no timetable on Ryan McDonagh and even in the best case scenario he probably only returns a week before the trade deadline. It just became a lot harder for the Ranger to move Yandle unless they have an indication that McDonagh will be back at 100% shortly or they get a package, including a left defenseman, that they can't turn down.
