The Rangers opened up their four game homestand earlier this week having lost 7 of their past 10 games at home.
The Rangers will end their homestand tonight looking for their fourth straight win at MSG.
Marc Staal said on Thursday that the Rangers are gaining confidence with their play at MSG. (MSG)
Henrik Lundqvist said that the Rangers plan heading into the week was to establish confidence and good energy at home and that so far they have been able to enjoy "good wins" at home. (NYR)
Lundqvist added, "leaving the Garden after two points, that is the best feeling. You win a lot on the road but there is nothing like winning at home." (NYR)
On Friday, Vigneault said that the Rangers have an opportunity to finish off their homestand "the right way" but that they need to make sure they bring their A game against the Avalanche.
Asked after Thursday's game about the winning streak at home, Vigneault "for me, home or on the road, it's funny, we got on the road and you hear, like at home, Let's Go Rangers, you hear it on the road too. We have a great fan base here and on the road. We are comfortable at home and there and we have played well this week so far."
