Alain Vigneault said after the game on MSG, "he is being evaluated by our medical staff right now, but as far as I can tell when I left, everything looked good. I didn't get into the details but I asked if Dan was alright and everyone shook their head. I'll get into the details once I leave you guys."
Henrik Lundqvist said after the game on MSG, "It's not good. I really hope that it's not too serious but we have to wait and see. He plays hard and doesn't go down unless it's really painful. I am just going to hope for the best, he is a big part of the team."
Derek Stepan said after the game on MSG, "don't see him go down like that often. I've been with him for six years and I haven't seen him yet so I don't know what is going on but it's never a good sign. I didn't see the play either so I can't comment on it, like I said, I see the aftermath and I don't see 5 down on the ice like that too often."
