11/2/17 | 10:22AM: Dreger said on TSN690 on Thursday morning that that the Rangers seem like a team "at the top of the list for having a strong appetite to do something pretty bold." (Fan Rag)
11/1/17 | 8:17PM: On NBCSN, Darren Dreger was asked if changes were coming to the Rangers and said:
- "there is no question about that, the question is how significant are the changes. We know that Alain Vigneault is doing everything in his power to exercise some change, we saw that against the Vegas Golden Knights."
- "There has been much speculation about his future and there is nothing imminent in terms of a firing but anything is possible, losing forces tough decisions. When you look at the possibility of a coaching change, especially in the case of Alain Vigneault and the experience that he brings to the Rangers, you have to see the signs."
- The Rangers found a way to come back against the Golden Knights and you look at the players, we aren't hearing anything inside that dressing room that suggests that they have given up on the philosophy or leadership of Alain Vigneault or they are not listening."
- "There is the possibility of a trade but trying to do anything that matters at this stage of the regular season is very difficult. I can tell you that eyebrows were raised in Ottawa on Monday, Glen Sather, Jim Schoenfeld, Gilles, Leger and Doug Risebrough all in attendance to watch the Sens and Habs. I don't get the sense there is anything big happening there but when there is smoke there is usually fire."
