JT Miller picked up an assist in Game 3, his second of the playoffs, and had one shot on goal while mostly skating with Tanner Glass and Oscar Lindberg.
Glass said that his game and Miller's game work well together and that Miller plays hard, holds onto pucks and makes plays. (NY Times)
Ryan McDonagh said that Miller's play in Game 3 was a "good sign" for the team and will hopefully "jump-start" things for him. (NY Post)
Tuesday's game that Miller did a "good job" making plays in Game 3.
Vigneault said on Wednesday that Miller is a "power forward' that needs to play to his strengths and said "there is no doubt that we need him, we need him to play well for us and play that 200ft game with and without the puck and last night he played a better game."
Adam Rotter: The Rangers saw in Game 3 the type of game changer that Mika Zibanejad could be and while we saw that type of play from Miller during the season, he hasn't been remotely close to that in the playoffs. He made a great play on Lindberg's goal in Game 3 and probably played his best hockey in that game, though it was a pretty low bar, and the Rangers have to hope that Game 3 JT Miller shows up tonight in Game 4. Miller is a tremendous mismatch advantage for the Rangers if he plays on the fourth line and hopefully that is something the Rangers can exploit again.
