2/23/16: 3:54PM: Pierre LeBrun thinks that the Rangers will look to add a third or fourth liner "at the very least." He said that he isn't sure about a move for the top-six but adds that getting Rick Nash back will have the impact of acquiring a scoring forward. (ESPN)
2/17/16: 8:56PM: On NBCSN, Bob McKenzie said the Rangers are looking at "lower level" players.
McKenzie said, "The Rangers have mortgaged their future in past years, they haven't had a first round pick in each of the last drafts because they have traded them away as part of an attempt to try and win the Stanley Cup. They don't have their first round pick coming up in this draft."
He added, "what they are really looking at is the secondary rental market where they could take lower level prospects or lower level draft picks and see if that can plug a hole here or there for the Rangers. Nothing on the major front, at this point, for the Rangers."
