Adam Rotter: You hear other teams that are making side deals with Vegas to steer them away from certain players, Columbus is reportedly sending a first round pick, but those teams are sacrificing assets to protect key players. The best player the Rangers can lose in the expansion draft is their backup goalie. If it's not him than it's one of their fourth line or bottom six forwards. They will need to replace whichever player they lose, which isn't always easy, but there are goalies around and there are some who believe Boo Nieves can fill one of those bottom six roles next season.
