Henrik Lundqvist said after the game, "It's no secret we've been really disappointed with the way things have been going at home the past two years here in the playoffs, so we needed this win for this series but also moving forward." (Rangers Game Notes)
Adam Rotter: Last night was important for the Rangers in so many different ways, tying up the series, big games from important players and finally being able to end this losing streak at MSG. The one thing I kept thinking about was the Rangers losing Game 4, winning Game 5 and then coming back to MSG for a do or die Game 6 on a 7-game home losing streak. Luckily they brought their "A" game last night in almost every area and should be able to bring confidence through the rest of the series, but especially Game 6, that they can win at home.
