The Rangers knew they had to be better after the second last night

Rick Nash said that the Rangers spoke in the locker room about how knew they weren't at their best but needed to get the two points before their road trip.
Nash said that while it wasn't pretty, the Rangers were able to get the job done and get the two points.
Henrik Lundqvist said that the team spoke after the second period about how they "needed" the game and that "it's a game where when we play on top of our game we're a good team. We were holding on to pucks tonight and our forecheck was better, just like last game." (NYR Game Notes)
