Alain Vigneault put Viktor Stalberg on the fourth line yesterday at practice because he wants to "balance" the Rangers four lines during this 3 game in 3 1/2 day stretch out West. (Newsday)
Vigneault called Stalberg "one of our better players" lately and that he helps provide "stability" to that line. (NYR)
He said that he wants the fourth line to be able to play 9-10-11 minutes because it allows them to play at a "better pace and tempo." (Newsday)
Henrik Lundqvist said the Rangers need all of their players to have the "same kind of push" no matter what what the lines are.
He added, "I think we have that kind of group where we have guys that feel they can be that guy to score a big goal or make a big play. You need to keep that mindset even with some important guys coming back into the lineup." (NYR)
