Adam Rotter: The two players at the the top of the list are the important ones for the Rangers as Zibanejad is the number one center and Buchnevich is establishing himself as a legit top-six/PP type of scorer. The Rangers have a pretty nice mix of veteran players, young veteran players and young players. They still need more, and will hopefully get it, from Jimmy Vesey, Boo Nieves is only 24 and then there are the young guys in Hartford, DeAngelo, Lettieri, Pionk and Filip Chytil, who could all be part of the team at some point this season or next. As the Rangers are trying to retool and rebuild on the fly, getting nearly half of their goals from youngish players is very important.
