Murray said that lawyers from both sides make presentations, ask for testimony and then give an overview again.
He said that GMs "don't do much because the union has pushed like crazy to disallow management comments during the hearing."
Murray added, "the union wants stats; they want facts presented all the time. Dany Heatley was mad here because Corey Clouston wouldn't put him on the ice every time the goalie was pulled and if he gets 4 or 5 more goals a year, it's a big factor in his salary determination."
