Blackhawks coach Joel Quenneville spoke about the Rangers earlier today and said (CHI):
- "they are playing well, they got a very balanced team, lots of skill, some experience as well. They play the right way, play a real solid team game, don't give you much, patient in their structure, close checking. Let's manage the puck because that will be important."
- "PP is extremely hot and dangerous. A real structured team game, patient in a lot of ways. They have four really deep lines, balanced on the back end and have a real solid goaltender. They are solid, that is the way they play. They don't give you anything and they take what you give them as well."
- "they are deep in their lineup and they do keep the puck. Teams that I find are successful work hard without it and try to keep it as long as we can."
The Blackhawks are 4-6 in the past 10 games.
