Rick Nash spoke with John Giannone on MSG after the Rangers loss to Florida and said:
- "It seems like we play in straight lines on the road, pucks deep and at home we try to make the cute plays and not get as many shots on net. We are trying to bring that road game home."
- Do you realize it's happening, "yea, I think that, you are down there and hear us on the bench and we are trying to play in straight lines, trying to get shots through and when it's 7-8 shots on net in the second it's obviously not good enough. Trying to simplify our game at home, not try and make so many cute plays. That is what we do on the road and why we have success."
- On battle level in the second, "they took it to us after the first 10 minutes of the game, they trapped us in our zone. Their D came down low on the wingers, we weren't able to make plays to get the puck out of the zone, we struggled a bit until we started to play a chip and chase game."
