Reading 9 - Binghamton 4 (Game 1/ best-of-five EL playoff series): RHP Tyler Pill has a rough night, allowing seven runs (six earned) on 12 hits in five innings and was saddled with the loss. Reliever Josh Smoker pitched a scoreless 8th inning. Akeel Morris, who has been fantastic the second half of the season, pitched a scoreless 9th, despite surrendering two his and a walk. Brandon Nimmo was unavailable today due to an apparent knee injury. He missed the final three games of the season. Dilson Herrera was 0-for-4 and completed the AAA portion of his season batting .327. Matt Reynolds was also 0-for-4 and hit .267. Travis Taijeron was 0-for-2 with a walk. He set a new career high with 25 homers in 2015.
