Over at ESPN New York, Ohm Youngmisuk has written an excellent article on Chad Jones' recovery, roughly one year since suffering career-threatening leg injuries as the result of a car accident.

Jones, 22, has undergone more than a dozen surgeries and still needs at least one more -- and perhaps a few more minor procedures -- as his leg and a peroneal nerve continue to heal. He has a metal rod through his shin, with two screws near his ankle and two screws under his kneecap.
At the time, there were reports that amputation was a possibility, so the fact that Jones has recovered to a point where he can jog is great news. ?He considers himself to be about 70%.

One of the most interesting parts of the article is that Jones is open to a position change if it means getting on the field.
