According to a tweet from The Fourth Period, the Rangers are one of many teams that have scouts in Los Angeles to take in the game between the Kings and the Minnesota Wild.

The Rangers have previously had scouts in Minnesota watching the Wild before.

The Rangers have at least two scouts that are based in Minnesota, so they should be familiar with the Wild. I would assume that they have scouts based on the west coast as well, but can't officially confirm that. Again, I think that the Rangers have scouts at most games and there hasn't been a direct, reported, connection with either team, but as always, it is something to keep an eye on.

Nashville plays Anaheim on Wednesday.

Could just be some advance scouts looking to get some stuff on the Ducks in advance of their matchup next week, or maybe something else.....

According to a re-tweet from Mark Spector of Sportsnet in Canada, the Rangers had a scout in attendance for the Canucks and Oilers game last night.

On Saturday, the Rangers had TWO scouts watching Vancouver play Minnesota.

I hate reading into things like this because the team has scouts based all over North America that attend games as part of their job.
