Mets Hot Stove Extra: Sandy Alderson talks Noah Syndergaard's timetable and expectations

In this extended content from Mets Hot Stove, Mets team president Sandy Alderson says the best estimate to get pitcher Noah Syndergaard back from his Tommy John surgery is in June. Alderson said he'd be a great addition back in the rotation. One benefit of a shortened season would be getting Syndergaard back closer to an adjusted Opening Day. Sandy also goes in depth on the rotation and bullpen depth and how they are trying to build some flexibility. In terms of the new rules from last season, Alderson is a fan of the extra inning rule of putting a man on second base to begin the inning.
