Another high-ranking member of the Giants organization expressed optimism about the status of signing Victor Cruz.

This time it was Giants chairman Steve Tisch, who met with the media in Boston Tuesday at the NFL's spring meeting.

From TmZ.com:

The New York Jets DESTROYED any chance Tim Tebow had to be a successful QB in the NFL ... this according to NY Giants co-owner Steve Tisch.

On Tuesday, ESPN.com released?its list of the top 10 owners in the NFL. Steelers owners Dan Rooney and Art Rooney II were No. 1, followed by the Patriots' Robert Kraft. Giants co-owners John Mara and Steve Tisch came in fourth, behind the Packers' executive committee and in front of Philadelphia's Jeffrey Lurie.

Steve Bisciotti (Ravens), Jim Irsay (Colts), Jerry Jones (Cowboys), Arthur Blank (Falcons), and Woody Johnson (Jets) round out the list.

"The Steelers selection is a no-brainer," ESPN.com senior writer John Clayton said. "The Steelers under the Rooneys have been the model of franchise ownership in sports. They are successful, consistent and supportive. They don't undergo the constant changes of other franchises. Plus, the family has been so instrumental in doing things that help advance the league, sometimes at the expense of their own franchise. It's no secret that two Rooneys are in the Pro Football Hall of Fame."
