Former Yankees reliever Andrew Miller appears to be on his way to St. Louis, according to multiple reports.
The 33-year-old lefty is "very close" to signing with the Cardinals, per MLB.com's Mark Feinsand, which would eliminate another potential offseason target for Yankees GM Brian Cashman.
While the Yankees have solidified their 2019 rotation after trading for James Paxton and retaining J.A. Happ, the bullpen has yet to be addressed. Last week, the team met with representatives for free agent reliever Adam Ottavino, who is reportedly high on Cashman's wish list.
