HARTFORD, Conn. -- Kaleena Mosqueda-Lewis said the day before the University of Connecticut women's basketball team's game with Villanova that the Wildcats had no answer for center Stefanie Dolson.

Villanova has had no answer for Mosqueda-Lewis either.

Dolson (15) and Mosqueda-Lewis (14) have combined for 29 points as No. 3 UConn has taken a 44-17 lead over the Wildcats at halftime in Big East action at the XL Center.

The Huskies (18-1 overall, 5-1 Big East) have not trailed as they scored the game's first seven points. Breanna Stewart had five points in a 10-0 run that pushed the lead to 27-10.

UConn broke it wide open as Dolson and Mosqueda-Lewis combined for the first 13 points in a 15-0 run that pushed the lead 30.

Dolson, who came into the game leading the country in field-goal percentage, is 6-for-9 from the floor. Mosqueda-Lewis, who was second nationally in 3-point field goal percentage behind Penn State's Maggie Lucas, hit all four of her tries from behind the arc. The best 3-point shooting game percentage-wise in UConn history is Caroline Doty's 6-for-6 against Oklahoma on Nov. 30, 2008.

Three players have four points each for Villanova (16-3, 5-1). UConn is seeking its 10th straight win over the Wildcats.
