Caroline Doty has not had a double-double in 104 games with the University of Connecticut women's basketball team. But the fifth-year senior is making a run at a triple-double in Monday's game at Oregon.

Doty has six points, a career high nine rebounds, and seven assists as the top-ranked Huskies have taken a 54-24 halftime lead over Oregon at Matthew Knight Arena in Eugene.

UConn has not had a triple-double since Laura Lishness did it in the 1989 Big East tournament final against Providence.

Kaleena Mosqueda-Lewis has 11 points for UConn. Stefanie Dolson and Kelly Faris have 10 points apiece with Faris also having six rebounds and three steals.

UConn has not trailed as it scored the game's first 12 points. Baskets by Dolson and Faris got it started and Doty followed with a 3-pointer. A Dolson hoop off a steal and pass by Faris and a Mosqueda-Lewis trey made it 12-0.

Oregon pulled within six at 19-13, but the Huskies answered with a 13-2 run capped by a Doty 3-pointer to push the lead to 17. Ahead 39-24, UConn closed the half with a 15-0 run that included treys by Brianna Banks, Mosqueda-Lewis and Faris.

Jillian Alleyne has 11 points for Oregon.
