Antwoine Anderson, a graduate transfer from Fordham University, will play at UConn next season, according to multiple media reports.
Anderson, a 6-foot-1 guard from Rochester, N.Y.,, started all 32 games for the Rams, averaging 11.1 points in 2016-17 as a redshirt junior. He had 103 assists and 55 steals.
Anderson will give UConn depth in the backcourt after recruit Makai Ashton-Langford withdrew his commitment to UConn and decided to attend Providence.
Fordham finished 13-19 and lost to Georgetown 82-71 in overtime in the first round of the Atlantic 10 tournamen. Anderson went 4-for-11 and scored nine points in that game.
UConn is still looking to replace forward Vance Jackson and big men Steve Enoch and Juwan Durham, who all transferred after last season. UConn has four scholarships available.
