He joins Byron Jones, drafted in the first round by the Cowboys.
Davis is a 6-foot-3 217-pound wide receiver who is a big target and has great hands and runs precise routes. The only knock if explosive WR speed, but he did run a 4.47 at the NFL combine. He's not a burner, but he has enough speed to break plays down the field and can create separation with his size and strength. Davis caught 71 passes for 1,085 yards his junior season but managed only 44 passes for 521 yards his senior year. Much of that was due to poor offensive line play and the inability for UConn's offense to find an identity in the 2014 season. The Huskies struggled on the OL and at quarterback and never got rolling in the passing game.
Here's the video of Davis' selection.
