The UConn Huskies look to get back in the win column in a matchup at East Carolina on Saturday at 12 p.m.
After beating Cincinnati on Oct. 8, UConn (3-5) has dropped two consecutive contests, most recently at the hands of UCF at home last weekend.
Quarterback Bryan Shirrefs threw for 242 yards and RB Arkeel Newsome ran for 101 yards, but UConn was held to just 16 points against the Knights.
Things have not gone well for the Pirates (2-5), who have now lost five consecutive games. East Carolina has yet to win a game in the American this season, falling in all three conference games.
