The Hartford Courant reported on Friday that Napier didn't practice on Friday and will be a game-time decision at best.
Napier spoke to several beat writers on Friday at the team hotel in Cincinnati and said he is hopeful his foot will improve. Neill Ostrout of the Journal Inquirer reported that Napier remains in a boot and won't commit to playing on Saturday.
"I have to do what’s best, not only for myself but for the team,” Napier said to Ostrout Saturday in Cincinnati. “Hopefully I wake up (today) feeling good. If I don’t, I won’t play.”
Napier leads the Huskies with a 17.2 points per game average and is coming off 16 second half points in the 79-78 2OT loss to Georgetown.
