Need to Know: UConn(17-13, 10-8) lost its second straight to end the regular season and is now locked into the sixth seed in the American Athletic Conference. The Huskies will play the No. 11 seed either Houston or USF, in Hartford on Thursday night. To reach the NCAAs, the Huskies will have to win four straight at home in the tournament. The Huskies led 37-32 at the half, but was outscored 43-26 in the second half. UConn went the first eight minutes of the second half without a basket. Ryan Boatright had 25 points -- 21 in first half -- and Rodney Purvis added 28. The rest of the Huskies shot 6 of 20 for 20 points. Will Cummings had 23 for Temple.
