WASHINGTON -- So much for the No. 3 University of Connecticut women's basketball team being at full strength for its game with Georgetown Wednesday night (7:30 p.m., SNY).

UConn freshman forward Morgan Tuck will not play against the Hoyas. She is being held out due to the same right knee bone bruise she has been fighting for over a month now.

Last month, Tuck missed games against Oakland and Hartford. She played three minutes against Stanford Dec. 29 but two days later against Oregon played 27 minutes and had 10 points and seven rebounds. She did not score in six minutes against Notre Dame Saturday.

In eight games, the Bolingbrook, Ill., native is averaging 6.7 points and 3.5 rebounds.

Tuck will be evaluated on a day-to-day basis and is questionable for Saturday's game at Marquette.
