The Univeristy of Connecticut Huskies host the Stony Brook Seawolves in an non-conference matchup at the XL Center on Tuesday at 7 p.m. on SNY.
UConn G Jalen Adams' suspension has been lifted, and he will see his first game of the 2017-18 season. He was suspended for the season opener after leaving the scene of an on-campus scooter accident.
Head coach Kevin Ollie spoke with Adams and his parents over the weekend, and both parties believe the junior learned his lesson.
"We had a good talk," Ollie told the New Haven Register. "Everybody sat down and, hopefully, he's learned his lesson. Hopefully, he's able to make better decisions, and I think he will going forward."
Adams is excited to get back on the floor and team up with junior Terry Larrier, who led the Huskies with a career-high 27 points in their 70-58 win over Colgate last Friday.
"Once me and Terry get out there, I think he can probably get up to 40 in some games," Adams said. "I feel like me and him have a great connection. When I get on the court, we're always in sync. He knows where I'm at, I know where he's at."
As a sophomore last season, Adams averaged 14.4 points, 6.1 assists, and 4.3 rebounds in 35.5 minutes per game.
The Seawolves are led by senior F Terry Strudivant, who tallied 17 points in the team's 76-61 loss to Maryland.
