The University of Connecticut Lady Huskies know this moment all too well. They're just looking for a different result this time.
UConn traveled to Tampa, FL for the Final Four, and lo and behold they're facing Notre Dame once again with the winner heading to the National Championship. Husky fans will remember what happened the past two seasons -- two losses in the semifinal in the game's final seconds.
Last season, it came at the hands of Notre Dame, which is why UConn has been in the film room watching exactly what went wrong in that game so it doesn't happen this time around.
"Really looking at film, watching what we need to do better," UConn's Katie Lou Samuelson told SNY's Justine Ward. "Going into the game we know it's going to be a tough game. We know they always ome out and play as hard as they possibly can. For us, we just got to be ready to play defense and play our game."
The Huskies had no problem taking down the Fighting Irish back on Dec. 2 with an 89-71 win on the road. Samuelson discussed what it will take to replicate that performance, and what this Final Four run means for her in her last season at UConn...
