The Yankees added Alfredo Aceves to the bullpen on Saturday and designated right-hander Chris Leroux for assignment to make room on the 40-man roster.Aceves was a valuable and reliable arm out of the bullpen for the Yankees from 2008-2010 and owns a 14-1 record as a Yankees pitcher.  Aceves is a swing man in the bullpen and can still spot start, be used in long relief and also as a late-inning reliever.Aceves left the Yankees for the Red Sox and spent three seasons there shuttling between the majors and minors. Aceves was in spring training with the Orioles, but was cut, and the Yankees signed him to a minor league deal in March.Aceves made three appearances, two starts, with Scranton Wilkes-Barre and had 14 strikeouts in 13 2/3 innings with a 1.98 ERA and a save.
