Free agent OF Andrew McCutchen and the Phillies have reportedly agreed to a three-year deal, which was first reported by The Athletic's Matt Gelb.
Gelb adds that McCutchen's deal is worth $50 million with a club option.
After striking a trade with the Giants last season, McCutchen played 25 games with the Yankees. He hit .253/.421/.471 with five homers and 10 RBI over that span while filling a big gap with injuries plaguing the Yankees' outfield.
A five-time All-Star, McCutchen has seen his batting totals dip in recent years, but the 32-year-old still has a lot of baseball left in him. He wasn't a major priority to re-sign with the Bombers, as they still have a stacked outfield when healthy.
