The "primary" season is over for the All-Star Game voting and six Yankees have advanced to final round.
The entire Yankees infield -- Luke Voit, DJ LeMahieu, Gleyber Torres and Gio Urshela have all finished within the top-three voting at their positions to advance. Gary Sanchez also advanced to the final round among AL catchers while Aaron Judge, despite being injured most of the season, is in the final round of nine outfielders.
Next will be a special "Election Day," where fans will have 28 hours to vote for one of the three finalists at each position (nine for outfield) as the starters on the All-Star Game.
The starters election will begin Wednesday, June 26 at noon and close on Thursday, June 27 at 4 p.m. The results will be announced on the MLB Network at 7 p.m. on June 27.
Among the Yankees' finalists, Urshela and Voit are searching for their first career All-Star team while Sanchez and Torres aim for their second. Judge and LeMahieu are in search of their third All-Star appearance.
