RHP Jonathan Holder, RHP Bryan Mitchell, and LHP Chasen Shreve have made the Yankees' Opening Day bullpen.
Holder allowed four runs on seven hits in 12.0 innings this spring, racking up nine strikeouts with zero walks.
Mitchell struggled in spring training, surrendering 11 runs on 24 hits in 21.2 innings while walking five and striking out 22.
Shreve pitched 10.0 innings this spring and gave up four runs on eight hits with two walks and nine strikeouts.
In addition, RHP Chad Green has been sent to Double-A Trenton and LHP Jordan Montgomery has been sent to Triple-A Scranton while the competition for the fifth rotation spot continues.
Both pitchers will start on April 6 and April 11 for their respective minor league teams, with the plan being for one of them to join the Yankees and start on April 16 against the Cardinals.
Green has given up only two runs on nine hits with eight strikeouts in 12.0 innings this spring, but has walked six batters.
Montgomery has pitched 19.2 innings during spring training, allowing 10 runs (seven earned) on 16 hits with 17 strikeouts and only three walks.
