The Indians indirectly poked fun at the Yankees on Twitter Thursday night when the team's official Twitter account brought up trade negotiations involving Jay Bruce.
Bruce, who was traded from the Mets to the Indians in August, was the subject of trade talks between the Mets and Yankees, but the deal fell through when the Yankees refused to take on all of Bruce's remaining contract, the Daily News reported.

Bruce played a key role in Cleveland's shutout win over the Yankees on Thursday night, driving in three runs and hitting a two-run homer.
After joining the Indians, Bruce hit .248 with seven home runs, 26 RBIs, nine doubles, and a pair of triples in 43 games.
