When it comes down to where Bryce Harper will sign for the 2019 season, everything from his new teammates to the fanbase to comfortability will be considered.
And, of course, the food options.
Flying into LAX on Thursday night, Harper -- as expected -- brushed off the question of where he would sign next year when asked by TMZ Sports. However, he did mention a couple cities whose food he likes.
New York made the cut, but Chicago was the frontrunner.
"Favorite food? Probably Chicago," he said. "They got great food. I like this place called Steak 48, it's really good. Deep dish of course. Anywhere in New York of course you know you can always go out there and eat good food. That's huge for us."
Harper is a big foodie, with him and his wife, Kayla, running an Instagram page together that documents their food adventures.
The Cubs are expected to be a player in "Harper's Bazaar," as his agent Scott Boras called it.
And though no real interest has come from the Yankees in regards to Harper, this is something they can chalk up on their list of enticements if they want to make that serious push for the All-Star.
I mean, they do happen to have their own steakhouse in Yankee Stadium after all.
